That about sums it up in the Raker family right now. I've had an upper respiratory infection for a few weeks now (just got upgraded to a new antibiotic), Mackenzie has a dual ear infection, and Josh is getting over the flu. To say it was a long weekend would be an understatement, but Mackenzie was actually the best trooper of all. Ear infections typically don't make her cranky, just difficult to sleep all the way through the night. Last night in particular we were up most of the night (I say we meaning Mack and I...Josh has been quarantined to the guest bedroom for the last two nights).
In other news, we have decided to trade in the Jeep (Hans, my loyal driver for the last 5.5 years) for a new Audi A3. I got to build it custom to what I want and we even saved a bundle through my company (who is a vendor to Audi Academy). We're very excited to have a car that has warranty again (and also better gas mileage) but sad to see the Jeep go. He's been a GREAT car to us these last few years. I calculated that since I was 16 (so for 16 years now) I have had three cars. My first was only for a year and a half, so really it's been two cars. What a great track record!!!
