Josh, Lindsay, and Mackenzie

Well, she's almost a year old and it's been a while since we updated you all. She's been able to walk since about 9.5 months, but it's really only been this month where she walks without holding onto things. She's really funny because if she feels herself losing balance she'll gracefully lower herself to the ground. To date she hasn't face planted or fallen while walking (with one exception at Pat's house when she tripped and hit her face on the coffee table).

Early this month we got a special treat to go to Florida and do Disney and meet Mackenzie's new baby cousin Hudson. We took some pictures at Disney and Lindsay has pictures from when we were at their house so we'll post those soon (Lindsay send me your pics please) :) It was really great to meet Hudson and see the Raker/DeCanio side...Mackenzie enjoyed meeting Hudson (and by meeting I mean slapping his head). The kids conspired against us and neither napped the entire day!

The tooth count is steady at four, and I weighed her last night and she's still 19 pounds but she's happy and healthy! We changed out her car seats this weekend so now she's facing front and LOVING it. She finds everything very entertaining and it's much easier for people to sit in our cars now that the rear-facing seat is gone.

So that's about it! We're gearing up for her first birthday with Nonna (my mom) coming up and the Hobsons joining us to do some cake eating and toy playing. We'll post pictures soon!
