So, we all know Mack likes to try new foods and is very inquisitive. We are fortunate in that she does not immediately put new things straight into her mouth, but instead studies them to see what they can do. The only things that go straight to her mouth are paper products such as napkins, magazines, and pieces of paper.
Let the fun begin...Mack doesn't get in her walker much anymore because she can walk on her own (albeit holding furniture or our hands) and has no patience for the restrictions of a walker. Tonight, however, she had a great time.
You see, Josh and I have separate baby bags depending on who is taking her out and about. Josh typically leaves his bag unzipped so Mack is able to get at a lot of the contents of his bag. Tonight, however, his bag was closed and the front zipper of mine was open.
Let's keep in mind the front zipper of my bag is a small zipper with only room for a pack of gum and a stick of chapstick.
I was making food for Mack (for the week) and she went silent around the corner for a while. I went around the corner to find she had not only found my gum, she had opened the tri-fold pack, pulled out a single piece, and started chewing it. I'm pretty sure my boss figured out this same pack of gum a month ago...
So, clearly Mack likes fresh breath...or the restricted areas of her diaper bags. Either way she is clearly the progeny of her parents!
