Josh, Lindsay, and Mackenzie

Well, the holidays are officially over and I thought I would wish everyone a happy new year! As many of you know, Josh and I spent the Christmas holidays traveling and going to way too many parties, so we spent New Year's doing the opposite.

We visited my mom over the weekend of December 16th for the Smith-family Christmas. We had a good time, ate great food, and mom got to bond with Keyne; it was nice not having to board her. We spent the following weekend (Christmas) with Josh's family in Florida. Aside from the hot, muggy weather, it was a lovely Christmas. Once again we had a good time, ate great food, and got to see Tim's parents and grandmother as well.

New Year's was fantastic! Josh and I went to church and then he spent the rest of the day putting my bluetooth handsfree setup in my car. I spent the day relaxing and playing with Christmas toys. At 11:30, Josh and I watched the end of Star Wars Episode I as he ate his late dinner, and that is how we rang in the new year. The next day Josh played his XBox and I took down Christmas stuff; I saved the outdoor lights for Josh which he took down later in the afternoon. So, a nice relaxing holiday.
