Josh, Lindsay, and Mackenzie

Well, this past two days marked the second sherpa trip for me. I was lucky enough to excort Denise for a second time to audition for opera companies in New York. The trip went very smoothly, and Denise sounded fabulous! It was definitely a whirlwind trip; we left Tuesday night late and got back at 1:30 this morning. We stayed with Kristen in Brooklyn in an adorable, yet teensy attic apartment. I helped Denise get to her audition without a hitch and even helped her to learn basic navigational skills when it comes to reading a subway map. I think she might even know the names of the 5 burroughs now! Anyway, if any of you would like to wish her luck, her email address is D-Va@juno.com and I am sure she would love the support! This audition would send her to the Utah opera for 6-10 months (depending on which program accepts her).
