Josh, Lindsay, and Mackenzie

Good morning everyone! I have been receiving lots of emails asking how the MS150 went, so I wanted to send out a blog to tell you all about it.

Nicole and I were the riders, while Josh and Keyne were the cheerleaders meeting us at our rest stops and lunch. Nicole did amazing on her first ride, and the weather was perfect. Cloudy in the morning, and only a little sun in the afternoons. We didn't get any flat tires (knock on wood), and our knees were only a little sore so we worried for nothing. Granted, we didn't wear our clips (the shoes that attach to the pedals) so we had more freedom for our knees and legs to move around a bit.

Once we rode into Beeville, we showered, got massages, and set up camp. We went to sleep around 8 Saturday night and took off Sunday morning bright and early. We flew into lunch and made it to Corpus around 2, so it was a perfect second day as well.

All in all it was one of the best rides I've done out of the four years I have gone. We're looking to do the Dallas ride in May instead of the San Antonio trek, so it was a wonderful way to say goodbye to the route I know and love.
