Josh, Lindsay, and Mackenzie

I have, at great risk to my sanity, upgraded the blog. One of the main reasons I have done this upgrade is because the new version allows for registered users to receive e-mail updates when something is posted to the blog. What this will do is hopefully be a way for people to get updates when I add something to the website.

So if you would like to know when updates to the site are made (or when Lindsay, I, or someone else post a rant) then you need to register and setup the subscriptions.

To do this, start at the bottom right of this page at the link that says "register". Once you register you will need to confirm it in an e-mail (it will tell you what to do). After all that you can setup your subscriptions. Once you return and are logged in, go once again to the bottom right and click the "subscribe" link. This page will have some check boxes, here is where you decide what you want to be updated on. The blog that I use is the "main blog" so that is the one that you will want to check stuff in, however there are 2 boxes, one for posts, and one for comments. If you only want to be updated when I make a new post (I do this for website updates) then check the "posts" box. If you want to be updated when someone other than me makes a comment to one of my posts then be sure to check the "comments" box. Or if you want to know when anything is done to the blog, check them both (you want the "posts" box at least otherwise you won't get the notification of when I add something). The blog right now is in flux. There are quite a few things that I plan to add and change, but for the most part this is what it is going to do. So if you want to know when something gets added to the website, sign up. Also there are some other wedding things that are forthcoming (more pictures, and hopefully a really cool surprise) so if you want to know when they are up, this is the best way.
